About Revive Commercial Roofing
We revive and restore aging commercial roofs. That's the idea behind our name, and it's the heart of everything we do.
Our story
Revive Commercial Roofing is led by owner Sam Hostetler, who has been restoring commercial roofs since 2009. That year Sam started installing commercial roof coatings, and within months he was recognized as a Master Contractor by his coatings manufacturer. He later served as a National Sales Director for that manufacturer, training and mentoring roofing contractors across the country.

Since then, Sam and his crews have installed roof coating and spray-foam systems on warehouses, shops, manufacturing plants, a restaurant, and a shopping center in Montana, North Dakota, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Arizona. The largest was a 240,000-square-foot spray-foam roof for Duratech Industries in Jamestown, North Dakota, backed by an 18-year warranty. Other projects include a roof contract for the Glacier County Courthouse in Cut Bank, Montana.
Why we're called Revive
All those years taught Sam one big lesson: most aging commercial roofs don't need to be torn off. With the right inspection, repairs, and a high-quality coating system, an older roof can be revived and restored, often for far less than a replacement. That idea became our name.
Today Revive is an Approved American WeatherStar contractor. We restore older commercial roofs with American WeatherStar coating systems, with a focus on large buildings of 50,000 sq ft and up, and we install and repair TPO and PVC membranes when a roof is past restoring.
Sam is also a pilot, so we can get to buildings across Montana and Idaho quickly.
