TPO & PVC Roofing in Montana
Some roofs are past reviving, and some buildings need a new roof from the start. For those, we install, re-roof, and repair TPO, PVC, and other single-ply membrane roofs, including large roofs of 50,000+ sq ft.

Single-ply membranes for commercial roofs
Single-ply membranes are large sheets of roofing material installed over low-slope commercial roofs. They are one of the most common roof types on warehouses, retail buildings, and other commercial properties.
TPO roofing
TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) is a popular single-ply membrane, usually white and reflective, with seams that are heat-welded together.
PVC roofing
PVC is a heat-welded single-ply membrane often chosen for roofs exposed to grease, oils, or chemicals, such as above restaurants or some industrial spaces.
Other single-ply systems
We also work with related single-ply systems such as EPDM (rubber) roofing, etc. We'll recommend the right membrane for your building.
What we do
New installs
TPO and PVC membrane roofs for new commercial buildings and additions.
Re-roofs
Replacing a roof that's past restoring with a new single-ply membrane, with or without tear-off depending on the existing roof's condition and code requirements.
Repairs
Fixing open seams, punctures, failed flashing, and leaks on existing TPO, PVC, and other single-ply roofs.

Have an aging single-ply roof that's still mostly sound? Before you re-roof, find out if it can be revived with a restoration coating. We'll tell you after the free inspection.

Honest advice before you replace a roof.
If your single-ply roof is still mostly sound, we'll tell you whether a restoration coating could revive it instead.
How a membrane project works
Inspect
Your first inspection is free. We check the existing roof and talk through restore vs. repair vs. re-roof.
Plan
We recommend a membrane and scope, and plan the work around your building's operations.
Install or repair
Our crew completes the work and walks you through the finished roof.
TPO vs. PVC roofing: which membrane fits your building?
TPO and PVC look alike on the roof. Both are single-ply sheets with heat-welded seams, and both are usually white. The differences matter for certain buildings:
- TPO roofing is one of the most common choices for warehouses, retail buildings, offices, and other low-slope commercial roofs. It's a cost-conscious, reflective membrane that works well on many standard commercial buildings.
- PVC roofing is often chosen where the roof is exposed to grease, oils, or chemicals, such as over restaurant kitchens and some industrial or processing spaces.
- EPDM and other single-ply systems are still on many older Montana buildings. We repair them, and we can often restore them with a coating.
The right membrane also depends on your insulation, the roof deck, how the roof drains, local code, and whether the old roof can stay in place. We walk you through those choices after the inspection.
Signs your single-ply roof needs attention
- Open, lifted, or brittle seams
- Punctures, tears, or blisters in the membrane
- Flashing pulling away at walls, curbs, and rooftop units
- Water that sits in the same low spots after every storm
- Stains on ceiling tiles or leaks that come back after a patch
- A white membrane that has worn thin or chalky with age
Catching these early usually means a targeted repair instead of a new roof. An aging membrane that is still mostly sound can often be restored with a coating, as on the aging TPO roof we repaired for Huntsman Cabinets in Post Falls, Idaho.
Restore, repair, or re-roof?
We don't push a new roof when a repair or a coating will do the job. Here's the short version of how we decide:
- Repair when damage is limited to a few areas and the rest of the membrane is in good shape.
- Restore with a coating when the membrane is aging across the roof but is still attached, mostly dry, and sound underneath.
- Re-roof with TPO or PVC when there's widespread wet insulation, a failing deck, or a membrane that's past restoring.

TPO & PVC roofing FAQ
Do you install new TPO and PVC roofs?
Yes. We install TPO and PVC membrane roofs on new commercial buildings and additions, and we re-roof buildings whose existing roofs are past restoring.
Can you repair my existing TPO, PVC, or EPDM roof?
Yes. We repair open seams, punctures, failed flashing, and leaks on single-ply roofs, including roofs we didn't install.
Can an old TPO roof be coated instead of replaced?
Often, yes. If the membrane is still attached and the insulation underneath is mostly dry, a restoration coating can seal and extend the life of an aging TPO roof. The inspection tells us whether it's a good candidate.
Is TPO or PVC better?
Both are heat-welded single-ply membranes. PVC is often chosen for roofs exposed to grease, oils, or chemicals; TPO is common on warehouses, retail, and offices. We recommend one based on your building.
How do I get a TPO or PVC roof quote?
Start with a free roof inspection. We look at the existing roof and give you clear options: repair, restore with a coating, or re-roof with TPO or PVC.
